Gameplay Clearance Scanner

Scans selected scene roots for narrow passages and low-headroom problems so traversal issues are found before gameplay QA has to discover them manually.

  • Tools/EQLabs/Creation/Modeling/Gameplay Clearance Scanner
  1. Open Gameplay Clearance Scanner from the Modeling menu and add the scene roots you want to inspect.
  2. Set the required traversal width, the required height, and the maximum gap size that should still count as a candidate passage.
  3. Choose whether the scan should prefer colliders or fall back to renderers when building bounds.
  4. Run the scan to flag narrow passages and low-headroom pairs between the selected roots.
  5. Review the measured clearances, then export the JSON report if you want a sharable level-production checklist.
