UnityEQLabs Create: Modeling & Animation

Getting started

  1. Open your Unity project.
  2. Import the .unitypackage from Assets > Import Package > Custom Package.
  3. Keep the Assets/EQLabs folder structure intact.
  4. Let Unity compile all scripts.
  5. Open the toolkit from Tools > EQLabs > EQLabs Hub.
  1. Import the package and wait for compilation.
  2. Open Tools > EQLabs > EQLabs Hub.
  3. Select the Animation & Modeling bundle.
  4. For animation, select one or more animation clips and run Animation QC Pipeline for a combined review.
  5. Use Retarget Batch Studio on a small set of clips before processing a larger animation library.
  6. Use Root Motion Cleaner + Extractor on duplicate clips when testing cleanup settings.
  7. For environment work, select scene roots or prefabs and run Environment Readiness Suite.
  8. Use Spline Segment Placer on a test scene to place repeated instances of your own segment prefab along a spline, for roads, rails or pipes.
  9. For stylized smear frames, open EQ Smear Designer on a copy of an animated mesh: analyze the motion, bake the peak frame to tune the look, then bake the sequence.
  10. Review reports, preview data, and generated assets before applying changes to production content.

Main Hub:

  2. Tools > EQLabs > Creation > Modeling
  3. Tools > EQLabs > Demo
  1. Generated clips, reports, wrappers, preview assets, spline outputs, and duplicate meshes may be written to generated or selected project folders.
  2. Use duplicate clips, prefabs, or test scenes when trying a workflow for the first time.
  3. Review warnings and preview panels before applying batch changes.
  4. Keep production animation clips, prefabs, and meshes under version control for rollback.
  1. If the Hub is missing, wait for compilation and check Unity Console errors.
  2. If an animation tool has no input, confirm that animation clips or compatible rig assets are selected.
  3. If a modeling tool reports no issues, confirm that selected objects are active scene objects or valid prefab roots.
  4. If generated assets do not appear, refresh the Asset Database and check the configured output folder.

When reporting an issue, include the Unity version, selected tool, input asset type, Console errors, and the expected result.
