Transition Pop Detector

Measures pose differences between clip boundaries so likely transition pops can be reviewed before they show up during controller testing or gameplay QA.

  • Tools/EQLabs/Creation/Animation/Transition Pop Detector
  1. Open Transition Pop Detector from the Animation menu and add the clips you want to check in playback order.
  2. Optionally assign a sample rig root if you want imported humanoid or generic clips to be sampled on a real hierarchy instead of only by curve data.
  3. Set the pop threshold and the position, rotation, and scale weights that should influence the final score.
  4. Run the ordered transition analysis to compare each clip boundary.
  5. Review the highest-scoring bindings first, then export the JSON report if you want to track cleanup work.
