Standalone plugins

EQLabs Pro is one large plugin. Some of its tools — and one that was never part of it — also ship standalone: separate Fab products, separately versioned, each installable on its own.

They exist for people who want one specific tool rather than the whole suite. If you already own EQLabs Pro, you do not need any of them.

In-engine texture painting on a 3D mesh or a 2D canvas. Five paint modes (Color, Flow, Direction, Mask, Normal), brush dynamics, symmetry, hatching, stroke stabilisation, and seam-dilated export to both a UTexture2D and a PNG / EXR file.

One editor module, no runtime footprint. Since 2.1.0 feature-identical to the Painting Lab inside the Pro edition — Flipbook Studio, brush presets and 20 starter brush tips included. Windows editor only.

In-engine Pivot Painter 1.0 and 2.0 baking. Turns any static-mesh tree, bush or plant into wind-animated foliage with no DCC round-trip: automatic element detection, hierarchy building, pivot computation, generated wind materials, global wind and seasons through a Material Parameter Collection, octahedral impostor LODs, interactive bending, and wind-driven falling leaves.

Bakes are drop-in compatible with Epic’s stock Pivot Painter 2 shader. Four modules, one of them Runtime — the falling-leaf and interactive-bending features ship in packaged games.

A ten-tab cinematography cockpit for Unreal: shot management with cross-tab look states, a library of stackable camera post-process effects, multi-pass / AOV rendering through Movie Render Queue, and an OTIO bridge that carries circled takes into an NLE as native markers.

Cinematic Lab was never part of EQLabs Pro. It is its own product, and this is its first release.

Two more EQLabs tools ship as their own Fab plugins. Their documentation lives with the Pro tool pages, because the feature set is the same:

Feature parity is per-product and stated on each page. Where the standalone is a subset of the Pro edition, the difference is listed explicitly rather than glossed over.
